This winter The Common Man Lawn on South Wharf is embracing the cooler months and celebrating with food, drink, and events celebrating all things dark. Join the team in their purpose-built undercover garden complete with warming fires, blankets available for purchase, UV lighting, and a digital mega screen for watching all of the winters AFL games, Bledisloe Cup, Olympics and other major sporting events.

The food celebrates the dark arts of cooking, Cajun, Creole, the deep south, and beyond using fresh and tasty Victorian ingredients. Such dishes as Traditional Gulf Coast Gumbo with Hazeldene’s (Bendigo) free-range chicken and Baton Rouge Beef and Biscuit featuring Great Southern Farms smoked beef short rib will be on offer plus sharing plates and vegan options perfect to sample and linger a little longer

Whilst tucking into some of the great food options on offer enjoy a rotating tap selection of dark and mysterious craft beers, dark spirits and boilermakers, deep and flavoursome cocktails, mulled wine, and cider plus wines by celebrated Australian makers.
